Melissa Kelly Cardamone, Soprano

Melissa Kelly Cardamone has performed leading
opera and musical theater roles in New York City and in the Midwest, and
has sung internationally in Italy.
Some favorite roles include Shelby (The
Spitfire Grill), Mimì (La Bohème),
Laurie (The Tender Land), Sarah Brown (Guys
‘n’ Dolls), and Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro).
In recent concert venues, Ms. Cardamone performed in Händel’s
Messiah with the St. John’s Music Series and with Festival Arts in
Antioch, IL, as well as in a Broadway Cabaret for the Festival Arts, and
showcase concerts for Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Music by the Lake, and
the Florentine Opera.
Melissa toured for the past two years with Opera for the Young, a
company based out of Madison, WI, which travels to schools and
introduces students to opera.
Ms. Kelly Cardamone recently debuted as Frasquita in Bizet’s
Carmen at the Fox Valley
Performing Arts Center in Appleton, WI, and will be singing in the
Midwest premiere of Elmer Gantry
with the Florentine Opera in Milwaukee next March. She is happy to
