Linh Kauffman, Soprano

Praised as “radiant” by the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, soprano Linh
Kauffman recently made her Latin American debut as Melia in
Mozart’s Apollo et Hyacinthus in Panama and was the title role in Pocahontas:
Woman of Two Worlds for Duluth Festival Opera. She was also a
festival artist at the Oregon Bach Festival soloing in Bach's Mass
in B Minor, Beethoven's Choral
Fantasy, and Mendelssohn's Elijah.
Ms. Kauffman has also appeared with
the Minnesota Orchestra, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the
Richmond Symphony, Festival Ensemble Stuttgart, Bach Society of
Minnesota, Oratorio Society of Minnesota, Rochester Symphony,
Pittsburgh Symphony, California Chamber Symphony, San Francisco City
Chorus, Berkeley Opera, Opera Vivente, and West Bay Opera. She is
a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of
Maryland, and is a doctoral candidate at the University of
Minnesota. Ms. Kauffman also studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg
and has twice been a Young Artist at the Weill Music Institute
at Carnegie Hall.
