Mezzo-soprano, Susan Druck is an active soloist in oratorio, chamber, concert and opera.  Recent performances include, Bach’s B-Minor Mass, St. Matthew Passion and St. John Passion, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde, Verdi Requiem, Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius, Handel’s Messiah, numerous Bach cantatas, and last month Elgar’s Sea Pictures. Susan recently performed with the Minnesota Orchestra as Mercedes in the Sommerfest production of Carmen. Susan has soloed with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, VocalEssence, The Lyra Consort, Dale Warland Singers, the St. Mark’s Music Series, and the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra. A Metropolitan Opera audition winner, she has performed such varied roles as Suzuki in Madame Butterfly, Jocasta in Oedipus Rex, the Princess in Suor Angelica, and the title role in Carmen.  Susan has performed at the Oregon Bach Festival for the past 12 years, both as a soloist and as a member of the professional chorus. 

Ms. Druck holds a graduate degree in vocal performance from the University of Iowa and serves on the faculty of Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
