Welcome to St. John's Music Series

Our mission is to present great works of music, performed well, at no cost to the neighborhood and community.

It all began in 1990 when a community chorus was organized to perform Handel’s Messiah in concert form, with professional soloists and orchestra. The annual performance of Messiah has now become a community tradition for which a loyal audience returns year after year.

St. John’s Music over the years has grown to include additional concerts, charity benefits and children’s musical education events.

All concert performances for St. John’s Music Series are held in
St. John’s beautiful sanctuary.

Our 2009/2010 Concert Series has concluded.  Thank you for your generous donations and for attending our concerts.   Check back this fall to see our 2010/2011 Concert Schedule.  We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Our concerts are funded entirely by the donations of individuals and organizations.
If you are unable to attend, you may still show your support by sending a check to St. John's Lutheran Church, 4842 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55419.  Please write “Music Series” in the memo line.  All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged in concert programs.
